I was a pedestrian and was hit by a car, what benefits am I entitled to?

If you are proven catastrophically impaired, you could be entitled to housekeeping/home maintenance benefits, caregiver benefits, and increased limits to the medical and rehabilitation benefits.

In addition, if the accident was the fault of another person, you can make a claim for pain and suffering damages. This is a called a third-party or tort claim. Compensation for pain and suffering typically comes from the at-fault driver's insurance company.

Be aware that there is a deductible of $30,000.00 whereby your injuries must be worth more than this amount to pass the threshold.
